PHILLIPS LX700 DVD

Morning gang.............

.....i have just recently purchased a phillips lx7000 dvd player & surround
sound system, my question is.....does anyone know of a hack for this machine
as it is currently locked to the uk(region 2). As i have noticed more &
more of the top films come out first in the states and are easily available
to buy through internet sites, and i would quite like to get a good few when
they come out instead of having to wait months on a UK release. If anyone
can help then this would be greatly appreciated and if i have inadvertantly
posted this message on the wrong notice board please accept my apologies and
any direction to a more suitable newsgroup is more than welcome.

player. To convert this player into a multiregion DVD player please follow
these simple instructions (assume you are using the remote control unless
otherwise stated):

Works 25 times

Press Play on player

Press 1, 5 and 9

Display shows: '-----------'

Press 1, 1, 1 for region 1

Or press 2, 2, 1 for region 2

Press 0, 0, 1, 0, 8 and Play

To reset the region change counter

Press Play, 1, 5, 9 and Play
