Listen to Media Player Audio over Bluetooth headset?

Yesterday I just opened my Christmas present, a Bluetrek G2 bluetooth
headset. It is great for making and receiving calls.
However, I have not been able to figure out how to listen to audio from
the Windows Media Player over the headset.
I know there must be a way to do this, because if I start up some audio
on the player, then attempt to initiate a call over the headset, I here
the audio loud and clear for a few seconds in the headset while the
headset waits for me to speak an audio tag for the call. After a
couple of seconds when I don't say anything, the audio cuts out.
I'd be grateful for any suggestions.
