I've just got filemon and regmon downloaded so i'm about to look into
those and see if i can't see where windows XP is storing this generated
key.
And sorry, I really should have mentioned what software i was using to
do this, its the Widcomm bluetooth software 1.4.2 (build 10) drivers i
have installed on to Xp professional with SP2.
Thank you for your help and i'll post my results from filemon & regmon
as soon as i've tried it
