Bluetooth Networks

Hi everyone,
I am trying to build a BT network by connecting my PC and my PDA. I actually
succeed by creating a TCP socket but my problems are: In order for me to get
any excahnge of data, my Internet connection has to be on, and I actually do
not think that my PC sees my PDA at all. I run the same client/server
application on both devices. They both run fine independently when tested
with localhost. When it comes to connecting the two devices, I get stuck 'cos
it seems to me that they both use the same IP address (found that out after
running netstat -anp tcp) which is in fact my PC 's IP address.
How can I found my PDA Ip address or is there a way I can connect both
devices without using the Internet.
My PDA is an IPAQ hp2200 series and I am using ActiveSync 3.7
I would really appreciate any help thanks a 10000000000000
