I have a Jabra BT250, works great with my V600 cell phone. Want to use
it with my IBM Thinkpad T30 running Win2k using a Linksys USBBT100. I
know this combo can work because 3 other people I work with use it. For
whatever reason, all I get out of the headset is a 4-note signal
(pattern 3412 where 4 is the highest note and 1 is the lowest). The
laptop software says the headset is connected, but when I select
Bluetooth audio as my choice, I get nothing, not from Real Player,
Windows sounds, or phone software. I've tried unistalling, reinstalling
the drivers, disconnecting and reconnecting, rebooting all to no avail.
I have a Plantronics USB headset that works fine. I should say that I've
actually gotten this to work on one occassion, a couple of weeks ago,
but I don't know what I did, and it stopped and I haven't been able to
repeat the success. Must have been PFM.
Any suggestions of anything else I can try? Thanks.
