Panasonic X70 and a PPC2002

Posted: 06-11-2004, 09:41 AM
Hi to all,
I have a Panasonic X70 and a PPC2002 (with Bluetooth).
I would like to navigate in internet from my ppc via Panasonic x70
(connected to the PPC via Bluetooth).
I cannot to find the right configuration: I'm able to connect from the ppc
(on the x70 I can see the right "connect" message) but if I try to open a
url from the ppc it cannot find it.
On the x70 I see always "0 Byte" of traffic.

Can anyone provide me a rigth configuration?

The operator I use is Vodafone.

Thank you
Best wishes
Anna

Are you using the correct APN, initialisation string and number?

You should have a number like *99# or *99**1# (1 or other number depending
on the phone configuration).

Also, if you don't have the correct APN on your mobile you can enter the APN
using a Init String on your Pocket PC, like +CGDCONT=1,,"<APNNAME>"

And on Pocket PC OS 2002 the Dialing Location information is set by default.
On the Connection configuration you should turn it off, so the number being
sent to the phone is always *99#... and not the prefix + number.

Thank you Maurice,
I already use all this settings you describe!
I'm able to use the X70 with WM2003. So I think it may be a problem of the
PPC2002.

Any suggestion?
