Hello,

can anyone tell me, where to find an overview of BT headsets that can
be paired to multiple devices?

Thanks,
Markus

GN Netcom release one device like this, the GN Netcom GN 6110 (review:
http://www.geekzone.co.nz/content.asp?contentid=2350) but limited, depending
on your requirements. It comes pre-paired with a base station that can be
connected to a landline, and you can pair it with a cell phone.

When a call comes in, you just press the Answer button, and it'll pick it
up, regardless of being landline or mobile. Quite cool device. But of course
you can only pair with one additional device, since the base station is
always paired.

Thanks for your reply but this is not exactly what I am looking for. I
want to pair the headset to my cell-phone and my pc (to use it with my
VoIP software).

I tried the Jabra BT 300 Headset, which works fine with my cell-phone
and can be paired with multiple devices. I paired it with my pc and
sound output worked well but the mic was far to quiet, so i couldn't
use it with my VoIP-Software.

Thanks,
Markus

The Motorola HS810 can be paired with upto 8 devices, though in honesty
I just have it paired with my phone. According to the manual it will
automaticly connect to the *last* (or first in the case of one pairing)
devive it was paired with.

how is the sound quality of this headset?

Last year I tried a BT headset from Hama, which produced an annoying
background noise. Furthermore I heard that a lot of BT headsets
produce annoying background noises (the B-Speech headset for
example)...

Thanks

I do hear a small high-pitched hum when it wakes up as the phone goes
into voice dial mode. It is just enough to know it is alive, and does
not survive calls. I will have more to say later...I've had no long
calls yet but I'm about to change carriers so I can get a signal in my
basemet.
