A little over a year ago, a thread was opened here about occasional
trashed audio between a USB-Bluetooth dongle and a cell phone (search
for articles with the same subject). Most of the time, the audio is
fine, but on some calls, audio is complete scrap in the
phone-to-dongle direction. At that time, someone posted that this was
an issue in the CSR chipset of the dongle.
I'm experiencing the same issue with a CSR-based Billionton model
USBBT02 (repackaged as a Centrios device) and a Nokia 6310i.
USB dongle driver is recent (1.4.2.11), USB dongle firmware was
updated as part of driver installation (no firmware version
available).
Nokia firmware is 5.50 (recent, but not the latest).
Has anyone heard about a solution for this issue ?
Thanks,
Jean-Marc Ranger
