That's because there aren't any with 1 Mbps. 1 million per second is the
symbol rate of the underlying radio channel, but there is some protocol
overhead plus a restriction in the use of timeslots. In the end you
can't use more than 723.2 kbps (in one direction, plus 57.6 kbps in the
other direction).
