LOSING CONNECTION ipaq 1940

Posted: 02-09-2004, 09:03 AM
I have tried 2 different brands of USB Bluetooth adaptors for my computer to
communicate with my Ipaq 1940.
I had a cheapy 10 meter version, but now have the Belkin 100 meter type.
I got everything working, but for no reason, it disconnects with no warning.
And even if I'm right in front of the computer.
I even bought a USB extension cord to raise the adaptor to a better level.
HELP!

Perhaps your USB controller is configured to power off after a while?

I don't see a setting anywhere to turn the USB controller off after a while.

Press the Window key and Break. This opens the System Properties. Change to
the Hardware tab, click the Device Manager button.

Find the USB Root HUB and change to the Power Management tab.
