USB Bluetooth adapter - should I leave it plugged in?

Just wondering if it makes any difference whether or not I
leave the adapter plugged in all the time? Is it working
and wearing itself out when it's not talking to my phone?

I would say interms of physical and electrical wear, you are more likely
to do more damage if you plug in and remove it a lot. However it has to
be a lot (when plugged it, there will be minimal wear to the USB socket
and plug, and a small electrical surge each time.

Not enough to worry about though
