Nokia HDW-2 earclip breakages..UK specific.

Any one using a HDW-2 had trouble with their ear clip/loop breaking?
I tried going back to carphone warehouse to complain as the headset is
only 2 months old and try to get a replacement for free, or if needed to
buy a replacement ear loop.

They told me, they are on the catalogue, but can't get any, and didn't
have a date when they would be able to.

Even their display model was missing the earloop.
Is that breakage common, and is the shortage due to a replacement better
quality part coming, or because they are just in such demand due to the
breakages occuring?

Cheers all
Carl

Mine broke after a month, and the people I have spoken to say it is a
commond thing. I got a new one without problems - I had to pay for it, but
if I had had the broken one with me at the time, they would have given it to
me.

Cheers Malcolm.
Guess I will just have to keep trying the CPW I encounter (thank god
there are so many of them) to see if any have any stock in.
