6310i bluetooth via Nokia Suite
Posts: n/a via bluetooth. I recently read that bluetooth on Nokia Suite is only compatible with WIN 98/ME/2000. while he is running on XP using a CLASS 1 USB bluetoot adaptor. Are there any alternatives I can look for? Thanks  Responses to "6310i bluetooth via Nokia Suite"

I have this working fine with a Sitecom USB dongle. If you go to the support section at www.sitecom.com there is even a step by step guide just for the 6310i. I have the Sitecom Bluetooth Class I USB adapter (up to 100 meters), also with the latest (downloadable) Sitecomsoftware and bluetooth drivers. Sad to say, that: Using the Sitecom software: I can make a connection pair with no problem, initiated either way, with no problems at all. BUT after 30-60 seconds the connection suddenly drops. Using Nokia Suite v4.88: connection with the defined comm port IS successfull, but DROPS within 5-10 seconds. Any ideas, besides trying an update to v5.5 firmware of the Nokia ???? (major issue here in holland, getting a update of the firmware, how ? where ?, seems impossible) Erwin
