t68i syncing to outlook.

anyone know why when I try to sync my phone book to outlook 200x XTND
basically reboots my phone and doesn't sync? im connecting thru Bluetooth
using a TDK USB adapter. I can use the Ericsson mobile phone manager program
to connect to my phone and sync contacts but I wanted to sync with outlook.
I even tried the open source FMA application and it does the same thing. it
will connect and tell me things like battery and signal strength but when I
try to sync it reboots my phone. any thoughts at all would be great!

Sounds very odd. First I would check the firmware revision and make sure you
have at least R7. R8 is the final code for T68i but R7 is pretty stable for
me.

If you are using a current revision of firmware I would call Sony Ericsson
customer service and see about having the phone repaired because it sounds
like something is broken in the phone.

while they do it? i don't want to be with out my phone for very long..

It depends on the customer service,
usually they are not allowed to perform
such upgrade by themself.
The phone has to be sent to an Ericsson
center, and it takes a while.

Go and ask for.

RUBBISH !

It takes about 15 mins at a service center

No such service centers in the US and therefore has to be shipped to SE.
