Logitech diNovo

hi NG,

is it possible to connect the Logitech diNovo devices with other Bluetooth Hubs?
i try to connect the MX 900 Mouse with my Notebooks internal Bluetooth Hub (WIDCOM Stack), without success.

Your laptop probably don't have the HID profile required to connect mice and
keyboads.

The "hub" that came with the devices has the advantage that it has some
logic to connect to the mouse and keyboard built right in, so that you
can use those without any special software support.

But as I guess the mouse will use the Bluetooth HID profile: Sure, it's
possible. I'm using a Bluetooth mouse (the Microsoft one) with the
integrated Bluetooth adaptor of my notebook and
http://www.visi.com/~pmk/msbtkb-linux.html without a problem.

Hassan, you'll have to find if the supplier of your Bluetooth software for
the laptop is using widcomm. If the software is widcomm based then you'll
have to find if they have already released drivers with version 1.4. This is
the first version with HID.
