Phone monitor

I have a SE T68i, I have just brought A BT adaptor, and I can communicate
with my pc, however I have d/l the SE phone monitor and I would like to know
how to get it to recognise my phone, I have read that you have to configure
it during installation, but I don't get that option, it just installs and
it's in control panel!!
Any help would be appreciated TIA
