I am looking for a small Bluetooth PCMCIA (PC-Card) that will fit fully in
my laptop - is there such a thing?
There shouldnt be any antenna outside my PCMCIA slot.
Any recomendations?
Thanks allot for any hint

I'm not aware of any pcmcia bluetooth cards like that. typically the
antanna should stick out some so as not to impare transmission by the
laptop internals.
I originally was looking at this same idea, and the closest solution
would be to use a Compact Flash bluetooth card in a pcmcia adapter. I
know there a CF bluetooth cards which would extend very little if at all
beyond the pcmcia adapter.
Since I only have one pcmcia slot, I myself am still hoping to see a
combo bluetooth/wi-fi card....

Check out 3com, they do one with an extending aerial that pops out and then
folds up. When retracted does not stick out at all. I had one 2 years ago
when t68 first came out but its drivers weren't compatible at the time.
Believe they are better now.

They may be slightly better but they are nowhere near as good as widcomm.
I got so fed up with mine that I got a TDK card instead. Sure it sticks out
a bit but at least it lets me do what I want with it.
3com supports
Serial Port
Lan Access (ppp)
DialUp Modem
Widcomm supports
FTP
PAN
LAP
SPP
Headset
OBEX
PIM Sync
The interface is easier to use and more stable.
Finer grained security settings
Better integration with windows
Easier to set default devices to use when opening a port.
I really wanted to get the widcomm software to work with the 3com card, that
would have been the best solution. But it doesn't appear to be possible.
