nightmares setting up xp

Posted: 09-05-2003, 07:59 PM
Hi

I've got my USB dongle and it's software works fine. I can transfer
files to my T610 and all, but..

I want my Bluetooth support to be native. I am running XP Pro Sp1
with an innovision class 2 usb dongle.

What I want to do is run say Float's mobile agent..which says it
requires the MS Bluetooth driver.

I then got hold of q323183_wxp_sp2_x86_enu.exe, but when I try to
install it, it *eventually* tells me "Access Denied"

Question is - Access denied to *what*. I'm admin!

HELP!!

Stu

Well I am confused, but hey that's nothing new. As far as I know Float's
agent does NOT require the MS BT Driver. How do I know this? Because I run
Float's with a Belkin USB dongle and Widcomm drivers.

Float says to me

Error 10047 in Function connect socket - address family not supported
by protocol family.

I'm off to find these widcomm drivers ;-)
