useing a bluetooth PDA and a Bluetooth GPRS phone to go online

Posted: 09-05-2003, 05:11 AM
Ok here is the deal, I know how to go online useing my HP 2215 and my
SonyEricson t616 phone useing bluetooth and a dialup. While this is
great its not exactly what I want to do. What I would like to do is
use the GPRS funtionality on my phone to surf on my PDA with no need
for a ISP just the cellular company. Meaning I want to be able to use
my PDA to surf the web just as I can on my phone without having to
dial into an ISP. Does anyone have any idea how to do this or if it is
even possible. Please respond to my email address
bgauvin@bryangauvin.com since I don't check newsgroups normally execpt
to find out info I can't find anywere else.

Thanks Again,
Bryan M. Gauvin

Try setting the phone to dial "*99#" instead of your isp's phone number.
If that doesn't work you might need to find out a username and password for
accessing the APN. You might also need to enter a special dialling string
"AT+cdgcont" etc.

Have a look in our Bluetooth Guides and you'll find a guide for this too...

Enjoy!
