Jabra Freespeak With Normal Desktop Phone

with an ordinary desk phone. I have tried adapters that take normal 2.5mm
headsets and let them replace the headset. Those work fine with normal
corded headsets, but the Jabra's 2.5mm plug is somehow not standard.
If anyone has figured out how to make their Jabra Freespeak play by the
rules and act like an ordinary 2.5mm headset, please let me know how to do
it.
