Is it possible to use wap over bluetooth?
So instead of calling the provider, it uses bt to use your pc as portal to
the internet.

It might be - or not. Some WAP gateways are only visible from the mobile
provider's network.

i think he means use the computers internet connection to surf the
internet to visit sites designed in WML (ie WAP sites) over bluetooth.

it *should* be possible, however I do not know how to do it. I assume
you would need to set your browser to use the LAN Access or PC Access
Service and enable ICS on your internet connection, if you can do this
I see no reason why it should not work. It did for my PDA (sony Clie
tg50) when i had it.

Depends on the phone. The Nokia 3650 / 7650 will do it, the Sony Ericsson
T68i won't. http://www.geekzone.co.nz/content.asp?contentid=1202

Also note that the builtin browser will not work with this solution. You
need a 3rd party browser, like Netfront or ReqViewer.
