SMS via BT

Posted: 08-20-2003, 02:35 AM
Does anyone know if it's possible to send SMS via BT from a T68i? I heard
of people doing it, but I've never figured out how it's done.

Thanks

I am not sure what you are asking. Do you want to send SMS through the T68i
from a computer with Bluetooth? If that's the case then yes there are
programs out there that can do this for you. I believe FloatMA is one of
them. You can find more info at http://www.eflame.com/fma/

Cheers

You can send note via BT instead.

Enter menu 7-2. Write a note and it's possible to push it via BT.

I think I found a way after playing for a bit, but its a bit convoluted and
I have to wait 'till my girlfriend gets back in to try sending it to her
phone.
It'd be going to calender->make a note->memo->[write message]->save. Then
select the note->options->Send via bluetooth.
I assume this'd be taken as a calender entry in the recieving phone though,
so any ideas on how to just send a text message via BT would be good.

Check in your organizer menu. Something like notes. Probably this wouldn't
work with different phones like T68i - Nokia 6310i. But maybe i'm wrong...
