Just a few weeks back, we’ve seen a spyshot of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 in a really small image. Now, we’re seeing another leaked photo of the said phone once again, but this time, in a clearer and much bigger image showing a silver-ish color version.
We know that the X1 is available in black and silver color scheme, so this leaked image kind of tells that it is indeed possible for the X2 to also have a silver color. For those who still do not know, this device is said to pack the latest Windows Mobile 6.5 OS, so not until the said OS comes out will this phone be available as well.

Today Samsung introduced the E1107 Crest Solar, its first commercially available solar powered GSM handset. The dual-band (900/1800MHz) GSM Crest Solar features a large solar cell on its back cover that can keep its 800mAh battery charged when exposed to the sun. Samsung claims that when the phone is powered off, an hour's worth of sun can result in enough power for an additional 5 to 10 minutes of talk time.
Other features of the Crest Solar include a built-in FM radio, MP3 ringers, a flashlight/torch function, and localized features specific to various markets, like prayer reminders and bike specific... [Read More] | 79 Replies | 362 Views | | Samsung Comes In Symbian S60 Smartphone |

Another Symbian S60 device, called the Samsung B5100, will be added to Samsung’s line-up of smartphones. It is still an unannounced device, but it is already known to come as a mid-end mobile phone with enough features that make it somewhat decent to be compared with other smartphones.
This candybar has a metallic casing with QVGA display, 3-megapixel camera with LED flash, and DivX playback support. It is completed with HSDPA connectivity, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and USB 2.0. Other features are unknown as of the moment, but these said features are sure enough for it to be called a decent smartphone. ... Just a few days after Samsung unveiled the first ever 12MP camera phone, called the M8910 Pixon 12, it seems like there will already be a successor to that or should we say an update to the said device. This new handset will be called the M8920, and it would probably pack more features, given that the model number is higher than the Pixon 12.
Though there’s no official statement with that and with this new 12-megapixel device, it looks like it would indeed be packing more features, which would include a 3x optical zoom (as seen on the picture). The M8910 Pixon 12 does not have any optical zoom at all, plus another... [Read More] | 0 Replies | 347 Views | | Sony Ericsson C901 Greenheart

The Sony Ericsson C901 GreenHeart is a "greener" revision of the original C901 announced earlier this year, a 5 megapixel 3.5G phone which is on a somewhat limited release worldwide.
The C901 is a Cybershot branded phone, but unlike the most recent devices from Sony Ericsson, the C901 uses Sony's proprietary Memory Stick Micro cards instead of the more common microSD cards. The camera itself has a 5 megapixel sensor, Xenon flash, autofocus, smile detection, red-eye reduction and multishot capabilities, and the C901 has a 2.2" 240 x 320 pixel display, 3.5G support, stereo Bluetooth and an FM radio. The Sony Ericsson Naite apparently pronounced "Nighty" is a mid-range candy bar phone that is designed to be more environmentally friendly than a standard mobile phone.
In terms of raw specifications, the Naite is not very exciting. It has a 2.2" 240 x 320 pixel display, a 2 megapixel camera, an FM radio, stereo Bluetooth and 3.5G data. The Naite also drops Sony's proprietary Memory Stick Micro expansion and uses microSD cards as almost every other mobile phone in the world does.
The handset is a very typical Sony Ericsson design, with smart and understated looks. The Naite is also very... [Read More] | 6 Replies | 261 Views
